Dalam menyusun kalimat yang benar, perlu diperhatikan penyesuaian antara subjek dengan kata kerja (verb) atau predikat kalimat. Penyesuaian ini dapat kita perhatikan pada penggunaan kata bantu is, are, was, were, do, deos, atau did dalam kalimat. Kemudia juga pada penggunaan kata kerja singular atau Verb+s/es.

Text 2:
